Security while ordering
The Stamps.com website has been designed using industry-leading security so that you may be comfortable that your personal information is always safe and secure when you order from us.

Technically speaking, our site is secured by a VeriSign SSL certificate which means that our site uses authenticated, encrypted online commerce, and that our order processing pages are fully secure.

Checkout process
As you shop on the Stamps.com web site, your orders are collected in a shopping cart. You can review the items in your shopping cart at any time by clicking the "Cart" button at the top of any page. When you are ready to complete your order, the checkout process automatically takes you through the following steps:

  1. Select the quantity of items you want to buy on the "Your Cart" page.
  2. Select the shipping address.
  3. Select the handling method and gift messaging, if desired.
  4. Select the payment method.
  5. Review and place your order.

Select shipping address
During checkout you will be asked to supply the shipping address for your order. To add a new shipping address simply click the "Add Shipping Address" link, complete the required fields and click the "Continue" button. You may also select from addresses that have previously been input into your account by clicking the "Use This Address" button next to each individual address.

Stamps.com ships to all 50 United States and its territories (i.e. American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands). We also ship to all Army Post Offices (APOs), Fleet Post Offices (FPOs), and U.S. Post Office Boxes (PO Box). We currently support only one shipping address per order.

Select Payment Method
You can pay for your order using either a credit or debit card issued by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners, or Carte Blanche.

At check out you may use a credit card stored from a previous purchase, or add a new credit card by clicking the "Add Credit Card" link, completing the required fields, and then clicking the "Continue" button.

We're sorry, but we do not currently accept checks, cash, or money orders.

Select order handling
When ordering from Stamps.com, you may choose from one of three order handling options: Normal, Expedited or Rush. If you are eligible for Free Shipping you will receive a fourth option: Basic.

Processing time estimates in the table below are the number of business days it takes to ship an order for all custom products. All stock products ship in 1 business day. Orders placed before 2 p.m. eastern time on a normal weekday will begin processing that day.

Shipping transit times are not under the direct control of Stamps.com, and Stamps.com is not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, natural disaster, or causes beyond our shipping carrier's control.

The cost for shipping varies based on the product being purchased. The price for shipping will be displayed during checkout on the "Select Shipping Method" and "Review/Edit Order" pages.

Adding gift messaging
You may at your option add up to 250 characters for a gift message. The message is printed on the packing slip included with your order. The cost of the order is not included on the packing slip or within the final product in any way.

Using a promotional code
In most cases promotions are automatically added to your order when you come to our website. If you have a promotional code but you are not seeing your discount then you can enter your promotional code manually on the Verify / Edit Order page during checkout. To do so just enter your promotional code and click on the Apply Promo button. Your promotion will be added to your order and your discount will be shown in the Order Summary section.

Final order review
Review your order summary page to make sure all information is correct. Shipping and handling and sales tax, if any, are added to your order at this point. To complete your order you must agree to our Terms and Conditions and Image Content Restrictions if you are purchasing a custom product. Once you have done so, click "Place Order" to complete your order, and then please be patient as credit card verification may take up to 60 seconds. When your order is complete, you'll see an Order Confirmation page that will contain your order number. Please print this page for your records. You will also receive a confirmation email with your order number.
